>The hard part is finding time and having the motivation. Motivation certainly, but if we accept the results of the study, you really don't think you can find 5 minutes of time in your day to walk up some stairs or do some jump rope

And wouldn't you also get the next work Shakespeare would have written if he hadn't died/retired first? Fun to consider.

This is a "holy shit" moment for me, and I consider myself fairly jaded. If you listen closely you can tell it's a little off, but about halfway through I could clearly feel my brain click into a different mode where it belie

Yeah, this sounds nice in theory but "For additional order details, go to _your account_." doesn't explicitly answer the question of how to go to your account, which will not be obvious to many people.

I don't know what's more shocking: tweeting 40,000 times, or going through the deletion process and ending up still thinking you need to keep 6,000 of those tweets.

Seems like a fair assertion to me, accepting the fact that we have no way (yet?) of proving it one way or the other. Just from observing any animal I think the default assumption is that we're the only ones who ruminate about our own s

Thanks for building this! I've always been intimidated looking at the fretboard, it just seems so alien and complicated compared to piano keys etc. This might encourage me to give it another go.

Dying is one of the most holy things there is. Every major religion is deeply concerned with the question of mortality and imo would collapse without it. Christianity means basically nothing without the death of Christ, Buddhism nothing wit

I respect that. I would argue though that this definitely is "something interesting" to discuss. I find it fascinating that the author clearly called out the illegality yet thinks it okay to do anyway, and even more interesting th

Going to post this here as it's too small to deserve a top level comment, but I have a copy-edit tip too: at the bottom near the pricing, "be sure to checkout our roadmap", "checkout" should be "check out"

Perhaps dhosek is a fae entity or trickster spirit of some sort, and we're all better off not questioning them too closely.

For me the notification banner closed successfully, but the ad density on the site was so unpleasant that I used your strategy anyway. It worked great, 10/10.

Thank you for putting a name to something I really struggle with. Learning a programming language in school and hacking together quick projects did NOT prepare me for jumping into an actual codebase with all of its internal complexity. &quo

This is a great idea, and I love that it includes four languages. The price is a bit more than I'm comfortable with but I may pick one up anyway, it does look nicely constructed.

Delightful! But now I have to know, did it work? As in, did people actually read and discuss the book, and is the club still going?

I don't know what's sad about that, it's fortunate enough to get one such hit in one's career. Also, the doc he did about product placement was also well received from what I've seen.

I understand where you're coming from, the author definitely had a chip on his shoulder, but what he's describing is a situation where the students clearly do not want to be sitting in that classroom. They're being manipula

Given what Cage said about audience participation and the framing of the piece, I wonder what he would think about playing it outside of the concert hall. If I listen to 4'33" on my headphones in a silent room, does the experience

I think this misses the point. Having a different language be just glorified syntactic sugar on top of "regular English code" is exactly what they're advocating against. Qalb seems to be more of an art piece anyway, asking us
