I programmed in Forth some time ago and I wonder why didn't Wozniak implement Forth on his first computer. Surely, it would be easier to do and run faster than BASIC. That BASIC was a naive interpreter, it couldn't help being slow

Thanks for introducing me to Xpra! I feel this is a tool that will need some getting used to. Where does it stand in multi-user scheme of work? Suppose I need to give several users access to a certain application running on a remote server.

Wow, thanks! It's great to hear the information first-hand from someone "in the trenches". So, I guess, Ubuntu 14.04 is running, but it's due to some kind of "last moment" special porting effort by IBM, not an

Too huge for the hand and pocket, IMO, as well as virtually all modern phones. Really, is there such a big difference between a 5" and 4"? It's a phone, first and foremost, a thing that has to be easily handled and pocketed.

Intel, who is putting the effort into open source drivers and Mesa developers, I think. I think the increase in desktop graphics performance has to do with the updates in Mesa 3D Graphics Library. Ubuntu 13.10 has 9.1, while 14.04 has 10.1.
