ECC ram can actually be a negative in certain use cases. Recording studios don't like the extra latency the ECC adds for MIDI for example.

256 is not enough for a serious main drive in a DAW. Sample libraries should all be on the fastest drive. There are single instruments that take up 50GB. And consider that most studios are recording in 24 or 32 bits at higher frequencies

I believe that privacy is key to digital currency. It should be opt out such that government spending can be tracked, but by default it should be private. Without privacy, I don't consider any digital currency to be fully baked.

I agree with you. To me the 2 primary blunders are the keyboard / touch-bar and the removal of the magsafe. But the other things together are indicative of a train on the wrong track.
