Thanks for "export KEYTIMEOUT=1"! I use https://github.com/robbyrussell/oh-my-zsh which has a nice vi-mode plugin, built in indicators like you mentioned too

I liked how easy Torchlight was to install, had a nice Linux-native installer with xdg-open links and everything. It ran, but I couldn't play it for more than 10 minutes before it crashed :(

Instead of an SSH tunnel, I route a web address and use a VirtualHost to access local ports. For example, I route http://blah.example.com to my home server, then use VirtualHost to route blah.example.come to port 8080
