Yes, they do. Unfortunately, the time my (GSM) operator sends is off by 2 minutes when I compare it to GPS data or the NTP synced clock on any desktop. So this feature is not very useful and I will be very happy if I see NTP sync in a futur

DNS for www.facebook.com was out, but facebook.com resolved just fine. Added same IP for www to hosts file, problem fixed.

Usual Li-Ion batteries get a bit over 1000 cycles, so if this is 10 times more power, it provides more power for 150 cycles than a normal Li-Ion for its lifetime.

Wow, I didn't know this technique had a name :) I used it today trying to figure out why a SharePoint application was eating up the CPU - break into debugger 6-7 times and 3 of those happened to be in the same function call or its children

What's to stop you from putting a Silverlight APP in the tiled interface? Silverlight runs OK now in HTML pages so in theory it should work in the HTML + JS Win8 box as well :)

Anyone that has the HTTPS everywhere extension (Firefox) is already using the SSL search in Google. As others noted it has been in beta for quite a long time and is missing some features like the image search or the doodles on the homepage.

What I was implying is that a snapshot of the peers in a given torrent is not exactly hard evidence that each of those peers has a 100% downloaded copy of the files. For example, I remember that some torrent clients have a "super-seed" mode

Are you sure this is a Gmail feature and not a Firefox feature? I have been able to paste images into RTEs (rich text editors) since Firefox 3. If the image comes from the clipboard, Firefox will add the image data inline. It works in all R

Since most applications are still 32-bit, most users are still OK with 4GB. Case in point - games on PCs. I upgraded my video card at least 3 times in the last 3 years but the main memory of the PC has always been 4GB and i have no problem
