Aw, man! I'd forgotten this existed. My gf and I used to do the "mah mah mah mah", "oh toh toh toh"-thing when pouring drinks for each other. Thanks for posting it and reminding me.

If you're sitting 5 meters from your speakers, you add about 15 ms of latency and, in some cases, people all the way across the globe will hear your sound before you hear it yourself. It's pretty wild to think about. My dad used t

Suggestion to include Go Mono: https://go.dev/blog/go-fonts By far my favorite coding font, even though Share Tech Mono is looking good too after trying your game/app. Nice work!

That's not necessarily true[0]. It's a widely repeated claim but there doesn't seem to be much actual evidence supporting it. Rather it seems that letter size and spacing are the main factor when trying to make text more read

Berating someone for admitting they don't know something is counter-productive and is only going to make them not admit it the next time.

Depending on your preferences you might enjoy Vivaldi, Qutebrowser or Chromium. That's just off the top of my head. There are obviously many other good browsers out there.

For me that was obvious when it started showing sponsored content in my "new tab" page (in the speed dial-like list of sites). I just needed a reason to switch to Qutebrowser, so I did.

I wrote something similar (but necet really finished it), called 'gut', in Go a few years back. Funny thing is, that I literally never use it. I thought splitting on regexes and that stuff would be super useful, but it turns out t

I love Ian's site. It's such a good example of how you can really get geeky (in the most positive way possible) with almost anything. I'm a bit of a sneakerhead, and one good way to freshen up a pair of old kicks is new laces

I used to use ecasound for stuff like that and simple effects and multitrack recording. I found that the simplicity changed my focus to what I was playing rather than how it sounded, and in turn it resulted in me being happier about the mus

Not the person you're replying to, but "steal" has been used in that sense for a long, long time—also long before the internet—e.g. "stealing ideas", so arguably it fits the definition just fine.
