Anyone have a recommended resource for understanding the practical application of recursive CTEs / Graph DBs?

Can you describe what you like about NuShell? Never heard of it, but the Github page looks super interesting. I struggle to imagine making use of it however. My normal flow just doesn't seem to need that power. I think I would benefit

Nope, I'll edit my post - I was merely talking about what the parent comment said, not anything about Ghost. The fact that they described modifying the URL made me think of so many blogs I see without back links. I wasn't referrin

As a general comment, not in any way related to Ghost blog : > It's almost like you can chop off the /blog/3-0/ It's an annoyance of mine in so many company blogs that going to their actual product is so oddly d

But then your security rests on your ability to manage a server. I mostly agree with you, but, I don't run one because I'm not a seasoned Ops. At least, not enough that I want to put my security on the line. In all but the most ho

While I agree with you - I do think it's slightly less bad than you make it out to be. For example, if I connected to my bank over this VPN I would only be as concerned as my HTTPS connection. So my VPN still doesn't know my ban

Well, you're funneling your traffic through a single entity in almost all cases , right? So I view it more as, who do I distrust more? My ISP or a VPN? I don't use a VPN provider, but it's tempting as I don't trust my I

Some examples would be neat. Though, even if I was interested I'm not using Google or Facebook, so I guess I can't partake. Congrats regardless :)

Still too early for that unfortunately. I'm hoping to have the UX dogfooded in the next month or two, but I wouldn't go near it for another 6 months at least. I want to be able to destroy data should the need arise. Hope you under

Does Postman support this with Git? Last I saw with my team no one knew how. Only thing Postman seemed to have was a Cloud Sync and Merge junk, no one knew how to make it work with the git repo. Thoughts? Note that Paw has this type of clou

I don't know Scala Futures.. but I'd guess those. Tokio is a runtime for managing Rust's Futures. Aka, the schedule that manages the various jobs (Futures) to run and etc.

This is a huge complaint for me with most of these HTTP clients. I don't get why Git/VCS workflow is not considered in these applications. Imo, it needs to be first class.

Google, perhaps? I've been obsessing about (creating) a federated information store recently, and this was one of my points to address. In my view bad actors don't have to just misinform, but make it more difficult to locate. Doin

Interesting. I'd love to give feedback, but I don't think anything I want fits into the modern web. What I want are often problems with the modern nature of things, not so much with features lacking in the web as it stands. Eg; 1.
