Brew was installing the affected version 5.6.1 of `xz`. They have in meantime rolled back the version to 5.4.6 There's not enough information yet to know for sure what the effect is / was on systems running the backdoored version.

I don’t want to sound silly, but there are 24 open and 37 closed bugs on the FoundationDB Github page. Could it perhaps be that bug-free is somewhat exaggerated? Antithesis looks very promising by the way :-) Edit: perhaps Apple didn’t cont

I'm a 38yo male and was (in my high school at least) some math prodigy. But hormones got in the way, I wasn't a great student at university and decided to study economics. I have a pretty good job at a well-known software company

I played microstakes for a while 10c-25c, 25c-50c and was an OK grinder in my teens and could steadily increase my bankroll only to tilt away all the profit (and more) every time. Those were not good times.

I'm hoping the next generation Macbook Airs will have 16GB RAM by default, I just can't get myself to spend EUR230 to get the 16GB upgrade.

In Belgium, police cannot evict squatters unless they are caught during the act of entering. Lunacy and a veritable nightmare if your property is targeted.
