Thank you for your reality check. Many people I know keep friends in the same social circles, and have little to no direct exposure to this perspective. Not everyone has the strong safety net to fall back on, so not everyone can risk the l

Congratulations! What's it written in, and what's required for hosting? I'm getting married in 5 weeks, but I've let my new job and house take priority over creating the website. Hmmm ... is there no way to private message someone on here?

From what I've heard and read, it tends to have more to do with the manager either not working closely with the individuals and/or not understanding what they are doing. This is especially common when it's a non-developer managing the grou

The same house and yard that my aunt can't sell in central Illinois for $50,000 would be worth a good 200,000 - 250,000 in the area I'm currently looking in (Philly suburbs) and more then the $400,000 or so that my fiancee's brother paid fo

As for the car loan: low interest rate, upcoming wedding, upcoming house purchase. If the money isn't needed, we can always pay off the loan. More accurately, I wasn't going to argue with my fiancee over it, and she didn't want me to pay f

Good job with the counter perspective. My main concern is the risk of being overloaded. Based on my last two jobs (1 year and 6 months) the larger companies are also subject to buyouts and layoffs. Based on the position descriptions, the

My current understanding is that they have several investors, and are currently turning down VC funding. I'll have to ask that explicitly. I believe due to outside deadlines, they want to have the system fully up and running by July.
