I should clarify. It's not impossible to get higher quality meat but it's harder. I can go into almost any supermarket in the UK or France and get very high quality meat easily. I find that in Canada and the US it's much

I was replying to a comment that said solar panels are vulnerable to terrorists. If terrorists have a nuclear warhead they are going to use it against a city not solar panels. Similarly if terrorists have a weapon that can take out thousan

Having lived in Europe (UK, France) and North America (Canada) I can assure you that American chicken is not just as good. It's not just chicken. All sorts of meats are worse in quality.

People think the end users are the victim here. This equally applies if my default search engine is something else. Bing is still going to override it.

Low cost airlines have thrived in Europe for the last 30 years. The only thing that was protecting the trans Atlantic airlines was that there were designated airlines allowed to fly those routes.

Just curious how you'd explain Germany and the high levels of unions in the export industries there? You can hardly say that there is little global competition or high levels of protectionism for them.

And this is why Uber lots it's license. It wasn't properly vetting private hire drivers. It's not hard. Follow the rules and they'll get their license back.

It doesn't matter if it shows the route. Uber in my experience will side with the driver if they take a bad route. I was swindled for triple the price because of a fictitious gas leak. Driver took a very circuitous route that just s

It's not about the UK legislating for them. It's about the UK not protecting them anymore. The UK constantly works to keep them off tax haven lists.

I'd be interested to know what job pays 4 times as much in the US as the UK. Also the UK is not a good example of a place with strong labor. It's much closer to the US. Look at quality of life in places like Germany or Austria.
