Thank you. Yeah sure, I’m not dismissing the idea in any way, it’s really interesting. That’s actually something I could have wanted to try, just like... learning a RNN to compute a hash, or even reverse a hash, or...

Yes, you’re right about it, thank you. I read true RNG while the paper is talking about PRNG. And a RNN would fit the bill, indeed.

Seems crazy!.. Why? A NN couldn’t be used as a (valid) source of random, right? I thought a GAN actually need some random to start with... > The most significant is partially concealing the output of the GAN’s generator, and training the

Probably not so useful for mobile, but have a look at Refined HN extension: https://github.com/plibither8/refined-hacker-news I discovered it a few days ago. It seems to include a "override CSS" box in the me

Just in term of user interface, actually. Something makes me feel awkard, I don’t know why... It looks like I am manipulating colored potatoes, while I am expecting to manipulate data, by writing pure functions... ;-) But maybe children lov

Very nice! I was expecting a 300 MB app running in the browser but... this is refreshingly minimalistic. One could use this when introducing someone to programming. Exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for, as I try to teach a few things

Thank you for the thorough explanation! Sorry if I sounds blasé, that’s actually quite of an innovative project (but still I want to call it weird). ;-) The video is very interesting, btw. But!.. the examples don’t show how interactive it c

Yep. Gnome on Wayland has been the best HiDPI experience I had on a Linux system so far. Also includes night mode out of the box.

Very useful product, congratulations. ;-) Quite expensive though. When I use an API, I usually assume (1) there will be some significant base volume, and (2) this volume has no upper bound, depending on my users behavior. For ~750 € you can

You can use t-SNE (or even better: UMAP or one of its variation) to create a 2D points cloud, and then use something like RasterFairy [1] to map 2D positions to the cells a grid. It usually works well. [1] https://github.com/
