I would argue that a critical view of vaccinations has always been widely present. We see this now as gaining traction only because they speak up as mandatory vaccines are becoming a real possibility. (otherwise: lose job, can't travel

According to one of Wikipedia's founders, it's no longer a free and open platform. There are politically strategic topics where no arguments/edits are tolerated other than what fits the mainstream viewpoint. The owner of the

I see this as a more general pattern on HN: Opinions not-yet-adopted by academia are often downvoted instead of being argued with. This stifles innovation because alternative opinions do not even show up in the casual reader's screen.

What Boros said in an interview (won't link it since it's in Hungarian) is that there's an extra fee to be paid for the authors to be able to put the papers on their own homepage as open access articles. I don't know mor

I'm happy to agree with all of your claims. (except the arbitrary label you applied: "junk") Deuterium depleted water is produced by distilling water multiple times, which is extremely energy heavy operation. That's why

One deuterium ion isotope (proton+neutron) is twice as heavy as the hydrogen ion isotope (proton). If you are claiming they are identical chemically, I think it's you who should come up with Strong Evidence. The common sense dictates t

To put in context what "we have a cure for cancer" means: In 1993 Prof. Dr. Somlyai has discovered that cancer cells cannot tolerate low-deuterium environments (as low as 100 ppm). There is solid science behind. He and his workmat

It is perfectly logical if your thinking is conspiratory, but on HN only logical thinking is allowed, so it really makes no sense.

I agree the problem is two-fold: One being the Big Tech overreaching in the name of "our safety". The other being the overly vocal minority who clap hands for them and come up with excuses defending them, as if they were propagand

The problem that you mention was largely amplified by Big Tech, the same companies who are now offering their "solutions".

As an insider do you see the current level of censorship from Big Tech to make the situation worse, better, or do you feel it doesn't matter?

That's exactly what I mean by challenge. But you have no other options. You can't force someone to honestly change opinion, that's impossible.

I think trying to "help change their opinion" or "help correct misconceptions" is also counter-productive. Just accept that they have a different opinion and deal with that. It can be a challenge, but you can't avoi

I don't see why the standard procedure can't be applied here. E.g. we have no proof to either a conspiracy or to its opposite, so let us live peacefully, while having different opinions. Also, let's not force anything on each

What keeps back Mozilla to implement this setting and lobby for a general Web API for expressing cookie consent? As far as I can tell, their users would be extremely happy about that.

One more friendly reminder: If Vitamin D dosage is above 4000IU, same amount of Vitamin A should also be supplemented to avoid Vitamin A deficiency (e.g. eat liver). It's also antiviral, so it sounds like a good idea anyway. More from

Using the same logic, https://facebook.com is also a danger, since we know they routinely sell out our personal data to advertisers and probably anyone who is willing to pay for them. Or an aquitance could be an insurance agent.
