If you can't even choose the OS you want to work with, it can't be a good DX. Unless their choice is what you'd have chosen anyway.

So true. A 40 hour work week without school feels like you're on vacation. It's so weird when the clock turns 5pm and you're just done with work and have no further responsibilities.

In the case of 9/11 the most likely motive was retaliation. If you could ask the terrorists, they would tell you that America terrorized them first (I'm not saying that's accurate).

>The goal of terrorism is to scare people into restricting their own freedoms. There are many possible motives for terrorism but I highly doubt this is one of them, even though people love to repeat it for some reason.

Like everything else, practice. When I learned it, first few days no sound would come out. Then the occasional "accidental" half-whistle. Now I can whistle songs.

The only way I can explain this is that by "best friend at the office" the survey means office buddy. I don't think a lot of people have actual, true friends at their workplace.

I don't understand the downvotes at all. Yes, PHP 8 is different from, let's say PHP 5, but that doesn't mean knowing PHP 5 doesn't help with writing good PHP 8. Same with Python 2 vs 3.

What makes you so sure that would happen? Many people like the city and have friends & family there. And for the company it makes zero difference if you work from some small town in Mississippi instead of NYC.
