Same here but binded to F1 and always running it's own tmux session with a root logged terminal, a regular one aaaannnddd a Cmus openend! :P Nice one about the IRC... will put it on the tmux fourth tab! :D

I think you guys are missing the point here. The point is: A barebone model for 50 bucks that you could transform in a high-end device expending more money on it when you can afford it. Also... need more battery life? Why not replace that

Honestly, I really like the design. :) Simple, round, small. With this round steel case, you could even exchange the wristband for a brown lethear one and get a more mature look (all this for only 30 bucks).

I think all depends on your usage... I personally never bath with a watch on and never go swimming with this particular watch (I have another one that I use mainly for outdoor activities. A Casio rated to 100 meters). I really dig watches

I usually take it out and put on the table. One thing that I learned after years of scratching the glass on several watches is that you should take it off often. Sleep with watch, and bath with watch are just two of the no-go. :)

Exactly what I'm thinking to do.... Going with ownership. A couple of bitsynced folders, synced to a home storage (and other computers, shared with friends, etc...), that I can backup with Tarsnap. Simple, reliable and MINE! :P
