Am I the only one who likes the padded, easy-to-read UI but just wishes MS would actually implement it across the OS? I don't want MacOS infinitesimal icons nor windows xp aesthetics. I like what they're doing, there is just a lot

you can but the issue is they limit the media storage to 8gb. :eyeroll. I can see why they'd want to leave some to the OS, but it really defeats half the purpose of 32 on a watch as is if limited to 8GB for media.

Took the words out of my mouth and then some, by a mile (In reality I only had ~ two of those arguments to make). In particular, completely agree RE: the misplaced itch to ascribe some abandonware label to FOSS exclusively. It is outright

This isn’t even new, the idea that the bioenergetic functions of neurons play a central role in pathological disorder is a one of many different popularized theories. This place discovers the basics day in and day out, lol.

The utter lack of contrast, horrible font antics, and weird obsession with tiny icons drives me mad

RE google; I can't remember who here stated otherwise but I believe that promotion policy (unspoken or otherwise) is no longer in effect and the rot has... presumably a different antecedent if we accept the premise anyways

exactly. just fucking flipping the "contrast, on" switch buried in accessibility is not a panacea, and it is no substitute for a regular high-contrast UI on beeauty grounds alone! God forbid third-party apps even utilizing a nativ

Ah shit is Ive really to blame for iOS 7? The OS and increasingly MacOS feels so dreary, lacking contrast, etc ever since. Animations also never recovered imo

Right, that's a cute way of being obtuse. The antecedents to successful careers are, to a degree. The generally-applicable cognitive skillset is the point.

Stop using X86 chips. I kid, but encouraging more efficient server architecture is surely meaningfully beneficial and will only prove moreso in the near future. Also: don't buy coins.

Just the opposite. Arguably anyone reading these comments - yes, you — ought to have a greater number of children. A world of fecund engineers, executives, mathmeticians and what have you is a world vastly more equipped to deal with climate

Precisely. I'n quite excited to see if google will make chromeOS functional for development in the sense of a meaningful, non-scrapped together existence. Bringing real Linux programs out of beta is a start.

Mostly just chip/memory wise tho, their outer design is jewlrey I prefer plastic components much of the time in electronics. CNC aluminum - sorry, aluminium, and glass are really overutilized.

Honestly, I just spent about a year on MacOS because of the hardware. That time also includes an M1 Macbook. Frankly, now that there are so many high quality, thermally-suitable ultrabooks,I'm done, I don't care if the M1 blows ev

Where does this memetic lie come from? AMD's listed "15W TDP" is irrelevant to the observed wattage and frequency (or performance) curves. And we've seen Apple's A12, A13 on a similar TSMC 7NM node - older if I may

Suppose it depends on which part of the chain he attributes error, plausible lighting or poor positioning - anything that is an employee duty - does throw it off and then they scrub it. But yeah. Still.

Created an account again (lost old few weeks old one lol) just to reply in enthusiastic agreement on the utility of barebones custom software - but not so much due to the lack of public-facing maintenance and the responsibilities that lie i
