This doesn't seem like a bad thing. Many people treat Ikea furniture as disposable and this seems more environmentally friendly. If people are happy with a cardboard coffee table, seems like a win.

Sounds like you're on the wrong track. Your body didn't evolve to use only one eye or to only use your eyes half the day. Sounds like you need some anti-strain glasses made for computer use. Also, it's not healthy to look at

I worked on a very popular and widely used product used by many demographics of people. We had implemented numerous login options. About half our users logged in with Google, about half our users logged in with email, about 1% used Facebook

Treat like it's worthless. Unless you're a co-founder or one of the first few employees, it's unlikely to be a substantial amount of money. If you're lucky and the company does succeed, you might have a house downpayment

I have a small drawer with a few cables. In general, I don't find a need to keep an inventory of cables these days. Maybe just a few USB cables, an HDMI cable, and a few other random things.

I've used the Kinkos version of this. It installs as a normal printer driver, so you can print like normal, then you head to a Kinkos location, type a code into the printer, and it prints off your documents. Pretty nifty.

The barrier to entry is also pretty low. It's basically a marketing game to see who can attract customers at the best rate of return. I'm guessing there are tons of VPN startups that never get large enough to keep going and the on

In a startup there is a technical team tasked with creating the product. How it's done, who does what, etc isn't too important from the perspective of the company leaders. It sounds like you're a useful member of that team do

Does HTMX have a niche where would you suggest a company use it over the more popular libraries?

I only know of one company using HTMX and they're currently rewriting their apps in React. Solo projects are obviously one thing, but in a company you want to use popular technology to make hiring easier.

You need to get in touch with a senior IT guy at one of your larger clients. This is not an uncommon thing and somebody with experience will be able to figure out the cause of the problem, which will probably help you with all your clients.

I know it's not popular, but I still use "npx create-react-app" and have built successful apps with it. I'm sure I'm missing something, but it doesn't seem essential for my use cases.

If your business is making good money, I would assume you have an idea that X amount of work could yield Y amount of growth. For example, if you've been able to grow a business to $100k, surely you can keep growing to $200k or $500k wi

I'm happy with Heroku for my Express apps. Point it at a repository and it mostly just runs your app. I'm sure it the same for Ruby. Render is a newer alternative that is popular.
