Not all NPM packages are hosted on github. I don't know what the number is, but I know I don't have my NPM packages on github (instead, bitbucket).

It's as bad or worse than the 2000 dot-com bubble burst right now. We had a covid bubble for a while and that burst. The AI bubble is next to burst.

It moves the file? That's not the use case. The use case is copying a path and pasting it into the address bar of Explorer, and then Explorer showing the contents of the path. No file action is implied.

You get it. Being a regular at my local sushi place (once a week typically), they would always give me free extra stuff, and stuff that wasn't on the menu for free. The chefs would also try out new (delicious) dishes on me. Why would I

Nothing in your comment makes any difference so long as Apple blocks other browser engines on iOS. I honestly don't give a fuck what they do with Safari as long as they allow real Chrome to exist on iOS, which I can then instruct my

This is incompetence on display. Hundreds of people were involved in this from concept, to implementation, to testing. And they all thought this was okay.

If this were April 1st, it might make sense. But this is a major OS release by a brand that's famous for its design aesthetic. What the actual fuck Apple? Does nobody test anything anymore? How did this get out of the lab? Who exactl

Similar story here, but going from Windows to Linux. It seems like Linux is gaining some market share with the OS disasters from both Apple and Microsoft.

And yet people do it, and have no problems doing it - I know this for a fact as one project I work on is built on jQuery with a team of several developers. We do just fine with our medium-level non-trivial applications. React really doesn&#

Maybe you should read the DOJ suit against Apple. It's pretty clear that one reason (among many) that Apple is getting sued is because of abusive business practices exactly as I described. Apple forcing Safari on iOS is present day, to

QR codes do not qualify as Augmented Reality at all. "QR" is a data encoding format. It does not augment reality in any way. The only tangential use of QR codes in AR is when a QR code is sometimes used as an anchor point, but the
