You could always have a fixed length randomly generated number prefix, with the numbers after that being sequential, making it obvious internally the sequence while obfuscating to the customer. For example if you did a four digit prefix you

That seems like a bit of a straw man: the official OS X native version of vim, MacVim has literally all of those key map pings by default – cmd+c to copy, cmd+a to select all, etc.

How about data provided to the business on who their customers are? This seems especially genius in that it doesn't even require the extra step of "checking-in", but can provide the business with the same data.

Yeah. I'd like that functionality too, although I'm not sure how great the range would be.

This is not the same creature, though -- The Wii U gamepad has an infrared transmitter that allows it to act as a universal remote. AFAIK, the PS3 is the only current generation console to implement CEC.

The current AppleTV has bluetooth -- you can use it for pairing of a keyboard. The issue is that AirPlay doesn't support bluetooth as a transmission method in its current implementation.

The question is not the age of the people fighting wars, but what a government chooses to "use" its youth population for.

Interesting sentiment, and I can't help but think this is why the government seems to fear the youth the most/ships them off to wars in other countries.

I've been running iOS 7 for a day now and had some co-workers give it a try -- all of them current iPhone users -- and literally every single one of them tried to swipe up to unlock. Unfortunately, in my experience so far, this isn

Did that for a few weeks, and the Chrome performance boost was nice. I had to jail-unbreak though because stability was horrid for me, with applications constantly crashing :/

Not just the javascript either, Chrome becomes horrendously slow with week wifi signals where Safari is fine. For some reason only Apple apps can do the 3G/LTE/Wifi request pooling magic that they added in iOS 6.

I've been using a Chrome extension I created for the same purpose. The nice part is that it does it without making an external web request, using javascript and canvas. Also, iPhone users should check out the Scan app[1] for a QR code reade
