I think it is safe to assume Zig fits into low level applications, staying closer to hardware, so competition should be with Go instead. SaaS could be out of the circle and often web based having less memory utilization.

That is interesting way of hassle-free thinking :) As a suggestion, two day plan may work better for social events with secondary option in case it couldn't get planned with exact people etc.

Physical activities can well go into calendar, and I don't get how it is our call to find a friend to hangout instantly. That leaves only "leisure", which is not that hard to pick up?

Functional programming is always been my passion since my Lisp days. OOP itself promotes mutation thus falls ineffective for overall statement of the computation trying to be achieved. Alright, I made the comment above to get bit attention

Very likely, there at least need of a filter at some level to size down (maybe getting single language or converting videos to low-res)

That doesn't really mean less would be in contact, but has chance to increase number of available volunteers, reducing respond time of the call. I care because I could be blind one day and use it everyday.

Very inspiring. Why don't someone attempt utilizing all ML advances in driving/OCR to make this work even when offline? This could pre-eliminate lot of cases.

I certainly agree, I ever used ECS from the beginning. Just surprised when I saw a new engine like godot follows OOP. It might be because engines are better fit but not the game itself and gets omitted easily.

I don't get it when a functional programming comment gets highest score in a game programming pattern thread while a game-dev related view gets the lowest.

OOP in game development is in good use with engines like UE4 and Godot, so it is about choice. What really matters is how comfortable you are with the way you develop the game.

What do you mean by 'beauty of hash tree'? If you are worried about FF merge, you might be right but no-ff is there as best practice for most of the teams so nothing is lost.

I really mean baseline is just getting higher among devs, that wasn't case before the smart phones were that popular (ive read your comment as 'challenge' is there, not negative)

Thank you for the example. I just don't want to be picky but that is church encoding. To represent a number, say 1234567, you will need million items in a list.
