If they could do that, they could also read the memory for the encryption key stored in the enclave. No such attack exists that we know of.

The encryption key is deleted. All data can remain on the flash for years, but it's useless.

The author mentions one thing which perplexes me. Do Not Disturb turns off automatically every morning, eve if I manually enable it during negotiations the day. His example makes no sense.

I'm pretty sure x265 is just not mature enough. Same thing happened with x264, where it had many issues and bugs. We all know how these fared in the long run.

Then it must have exploited some leftover, or Apple just moved stuff around. If backup is possible, then access to sandboxes is still allowed one way or another.
