Like what some people said 5/100 on the page speed score is pretty bad. My site used to have this. It boiled down to two things that caused it. 1) I wasn't code splitting by page, and had a couple heavy dependencies (which made th

If you already know Ruby on Rails, do that. If you already know Python well, do Django or Django REST. If you don't have any prior language affinities, go Javascript/Typescript on the whole stack. Language switching is a real prob

I think there is a pretty large interest in something like this. But I don't think it will as simple/automated as you would like. At the minimum, you would need to test/review each product. Provide truly valuable insights, an

I'd stay far away from company X. If they are randomly trying to change the deal out of the blue, would you want to be in a deeper relationship with them? Like the other commenter said, treat this as an incredible compliment. They see

This is a well explained and concise guide on theory and implementation behind it. But like many things, there's no replacement for getting your hands on a real life system and gaining real life intuition. The best way to learn this? G

I'm fairly confident that Motecs line of ECU products all have FPGA's internally. I vaguely remember taking apart an old M400 and it having an FPGA. Thankfully their ECU manager software abstracts that all away from you.

To my knowledge, ITAR just deals with products/information going from the US to outside countries. I just purchased a 150W c02 laser from China. When you import a laser from China. The FDA starts to care. They require that the import l

I have a hard time taking them seriously. Some of their "independent" lab results are from some USF lab. The same lab one of the co-founders was a director for... Go figure. Some please correct me if I'm wrong. Read the resul

Generally there are two classes of objects that you want to filter for. Particulates and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). Think of particulates as specs of dust with varying size and VOC's as random chemical compounds such as spray p

It really boils down to the fact that most devs don't need the horsepower that desktops provide. A laptop can connect to 27 inch (4k monitors), your prefered keyboard/mouse setup. It also comes with a slick integrated uninterrupt

I ran into this exact issue about 2 years ago about build vs rent. Ultimately I chose build. Here's my thoughts/background: Background: Doing small scale training/fine tuning on datasets. Small time commercial applications.

I found this really interesting book about Joe Martin, an old-time entrepreneur that built small machine tools under the brand Sherline since 1973. He wrote a sub-40 page book of his experiences over the years. It's incredibly interes

The image bounding box labeling widget looks like a hidden gem! This tool would shine where the dataset has sensitive information or the job is too specialized to use on Mechanical Turk. https://docs.tryretool.com/docs/

I think we are on the same page. Don't worry about QR codes, it kills the vibe of an "organic" meeting. Just do it via GPS. I wouldn't worry about liability, look at the physical contact Tinder is promoting :) I think th
