Makes sense. If you’re too specific early on, you miss everything that you didn’t expect. Much better to be open first, and then do the filtering afterwards, based on what you observe.

Government buying more fire trucks is a poor measure for increased incidence of actual fires. They might just be signaling, fall for marketing, and lots of other things. Governments are run by people, and they are as fallible as any rando o

I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the exact reaction the NYT was going for with this article. (In marketing and propaganda, you first define what you want your reader to conclude. Then, you write a story that leads to that conclusion - th

Thanks for sharing. I often have this problem in Google Sheets. So far, i’ve resorted to copying the formula into Sublime Text and then splitting it into multiple lines. Your editor looks much more intuitive. As demo, it would be nice if on

If this hadn’t been published in 2015, you’d all call it AI slop: > When the German engineer Karl Benz invented the first petroleum-powered automobile, he did not just create an engine with wheels; he set in motion an industry that revol

Fet a Sòller. The guy is a German who noticed the same problem in the 90s and figured to use the surplus for making ice cream & marketing it to the Vitamin C starved people in Germany. Perhaps an artisanal single-origin soda could work?
