I agree. I hope once the haze has settled he has to maintain this code.

I have experienced exactly the opposite of this. Nobody seems interested in using Kotlin, while I think it is pretty neat.

as someone who has high cholesterol and at the same time gets side effects from statins (body attacks itself via lichen planus when on statins for several months) it sucks to hear this.

given the crazy rise in prices I doubt anybody is spending any, apart from people who maybe want to, uhm, clean some money.

The main question is do you need the the back light. For me it is essential, i tend to wake around 3 am every morning and read for an hour, without interrupting my wife, which is worth the extra money.

The problem with angular here is that it eliminates tree shaking in the dart compiler. Angular has the same problem with closure as well. tis a big problem imo which the framework creators best fix.

Why would you pre-render if your data is not changing continually? Don't you just have static content then?

We use the full closure stack and tofu alongside the decoration phase works a treat.

The soy templates have a java (tofu) backend already (several years old). The phantomjs idea is a shit idea and should go away. Phantom is fine and good for headless testing (hells we use it for quite a bit else) but seriously it is not a s

what is your build process? (angular noob here)but I would assume your dependency resolution takes care of this. (this sounds to me like build vs real issue)

So are you using that the full tree shaking algo works with angular now?

I played with this in 2008, works nicely. I remember running into a 42k row limit with a single spreadsheet.

yes, (early 90's for me), I wondered if anyone else remembered this. Also played another variant of this with a subset of C when at varsity.

We started our project from the get go in closure because this overhead can be automated. The benefits outweigh the pitfalls IMO, and a week spent on process will pay huge dividends down the line.

you should try out closure. it has static typing and a really well developed and tested library alongside the fantasitc compiler.

Jesus and the mary chain is also hugely influential, do you listen to Spacemen 3 at all? Heroin took me years to appreciate, once I "snapped" that the dissonance is a metaphor for the addicts' life I fell in love with it.

I sweetly remember losing a few days to getting mod_python working within cygwin. As lovely as python is I never work with the language anymore.

finished school in 94 with pascal as well, got to varsity and suddenly oberon. Pascal was an easy and great language to learn on (20 years ago). Delphi might not be that bad, the language seems nicely designed (from looking at it more than

ugh, postmodern in the title is link bait in one manner, nauseating in another. If he had replaced "post modernism" with the term "post structuralism" he would have realised he should not write the piece from the get go.

you touched on several of the problems i forsee. angular parses templates client side, which is expensive IMO, smaller better optimised code with proper dead code elimination leads to a faster experience. as for mobile, i use it as the fina
