I think the swiss soda drink, Rivella, is made from acid whey. I guess if you add enough sugar/sweetener then you can sell it.

No need, just install scummvm on any android device (I don't know if it's available on iOS) and play the many Lucasarts titles. It has 'drag-to-hover' and 'tap-to-click' as well.

My impression is that it's typically the iterator/reference stability requirements that lock imlementations down, not the complexity requirements.

Just recently I found a 7 years old regression in our codebase, I could pinpoint the exact commit where it was introduced. We use mercurial, I find hg grep and bisect really useful.

Sure, my tricks are mostly aimed for improving the average performance for uniform inputs between 0 and 2^32-1. Edit: And yeah, you need a fast popcnt here.

One things that comes to mind: popcnt(x^(x>>1))==2 for all 5 numbers. Maybe the checking function could start with that condition, then fall back to the slower one-by-one check when that evaluates to two. For most numbers the popcnt c

It doesn't make much sense to argue which parts of the equations are real physical. Having said that for me the Aharonov-Bohm effect proves the "reality" of the wave function. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki&#

ABI is an interesting question. My impression is that the additional debug metadata should be in the form of debug symols and shouldn't affect the ABI.

The paper being discussed here doesn't mention or imply any changes to the standard. Neither the language nor the standard library. This is entirely a tooling problem.

>C++ has the additional problem that each iteration takes about three years I don't see how the iteration of the C++ standard is relevant for the development of debug tooling.

The standard would probably need to introduce destructive move semantics and trivially relocatable types (unique_ptr for example) to enable simplifying the ABI for such types. Then of course an ABI break is required to actually apply the ch

The video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHIkrotSwcc I wrote up a reddit post for a possible workaround for removing the overhead. It's standard C++, no ABI break is required. It's not without caveats though: h

Not entirely true. Moving from std::vector is required to not invalidate iterators and references when moved from. This is why strings can be small buffer optimized and vectors can't be.

I rarely see opt in GDPR popups, it's typically "accept tracking" or "more options...", the latter seemingly sending you down an infinite rabbit hole. Well, now that I think about it, this might count as opt in, but
