Flooding stream services with slop and autoplaying it through a bot farm is obviously bad behavior, but is it illegal, punishable with jail time (5 years mentioned)? I see no victims other than large streaming services who failed to account

‘abuse’. The same rate limits apply, the requests still go to the same endpoints. Even as a CC user I’m glad someone is forcing the discussion. My prediction: within two years ‘model neutrality’ will be a topic of debate. Creating lock-in t

This is generally how I use it too. Every now and then I click through to the assistant for follow-up questions. I appreciate that it’s there, even if I use it infrequently. The default kimi model gives surprisingly good answers too

At least the thinking trace is visible here. CC has stopped showing it in the latest releases – maybe (speculating) to avoid embarrassing screenshots like OC or to take away a source of inspiration from other harness builders. I consider it

First, the difference isn’t that big in the economically stronger EU countries. Second, you need to factor in cost of living, which by most accounts is lower. Third, meaningful labor laws and a shared appreciation for work-life balance. And

Should he? Where does that mindset come from? The author has owned up to his mistake. Unless there is a pattern here, why would we not prefer to let him learn and grow from this? We all get to accidentally drop the prod DB once, since that’

Oh nice, this is going in the tool belt. Simple and self-explanatory. Hits the same notes as excalidraw. Only thing I couldn't figure out right away is how to copy the drawing itself (not the JSON data). Eventually I found cmd+shift+c

Maybe it's just more or less feature-complete? Was curious, as someone who hadn't heard of it before, so I checked the blog. Last post is from April last year and concerns public testing of a new release. That's not particula

Few games have captured my imagination like CoQ. Only, I wish it wasn’t so punishing. Death lurks around every corner. Even in roleplay mode (with permadeath disabled), you can lose hours of progress if you die between villages. I understan

Before this drama started, OpenCode was just another item on a long list of tools I've been meaning to test. I was 100% content with CC (still am, mostly). But it was nice to know that there were alternatives, and that I could try them

As a European, I always get a giggle from American conservatives describing CNN as ‘far left’. There’s so much more spectrum to explore. Like, even your Democrats are our center-right.

For TUI, Helix has a lovely out-of-the-box experience. What little config there is (two TOML files) is relatively easy to grasp. The main barrier you'll face is setting up your LSPs, which need to be installed manually. (Luckily, there

Since the VC investment by Sequoia I’ve had my doubts about Zed. For one thing, a certain high-profile member of that VC publicly promotes a worldview that does not align with mine. For another, I’ve had it with my favorite products constan

Same except with Helix. The integration in Zed is limited by what the Claude Code SDK exposes. Since about half of the /commands are missing from the SDK, they don’t show up in Zed. I think ACP was a good strategic move by Zed, but all

Same. I love my dashes and I’ve been feeling similarly self-conscious. FWIW I have noticed that they’re often used incorrectly by LLMs, particularly the em-dash. It seems there’s a tendency to place spaces around the em-dash, i.e. <word&
