I tried to learn lojban back in the day. I liked the phonetics, vocabulary and system in general, but it seemed an impossible task to remember the placeholder order of every single predicate. Maybe not so much of a struggle for an AI though

For those who are not familiar with the PHP ecosystem, any currently maintained framework is also fine. I myself use F3 for small personal projects. Totally agree about the single thread thinking is enough for most things. It of course depe

I think that's called translinear translation. I like the idea, but hard to find the content. I never thought to look for film though. I wonder if there is a site where you can download movie subtitles.

Meh, at this point it doesn't matter. There's so much (bad) php code out there that needs to be maintained, any person who learns to write good php has a job for life. But I've always said that PHP's popularity was due t

dBeaver is written in Java, but it feels very lightweight. I'm running it on a Linux desktop I've been using since 2014. It's also cross platform so I run it at work on a Windows laptop.

Is there something about Erlang itself that makes it an attractive FP language for you, or is it the environment (Beam, OTP)? As a web dev, I find the performance of the system and concept of the actor model appealing and interesting, altho
