My workplace will adopt React for the sole purpose of being easy to find new React developers as it's the most popular library for reactive UI. Everyone at the company knows a little React already. We are not good at it and we don'

Nice idea. It would be good to find an AliExpress supplier to ship the whole kit.

Simple!?!? Ha! This is a very polished to be called simple although simple is subjective. I've been developing language learning tools as a hobby during my programming journey, so it's great fun to try new stuff. Problems... I ope

Hi, I guess at version 0.1, Brisa is not ready for production yet. If this is the case, any idea when it would be?

Cool! I remember messing around with LÖVE (2D) back in the day. This looks just as awesome, although I'm way too busy to do anything with it at the moment. There is always looming unemployment around the corner though :P

Yep, it could be that one day you go to work and your town gets destroyed before you manage to get home and hug your family goodbye.

I think it's a middle path thing. I like toast error messages but for simple confirmation actions like Saved, Deleted and Copied, the text change is better. HTMX makes this really easy to do :)

I once watched this program about a guy that grew it in an area for wood harvesting and food, and kept it in check by digging a 1 meter deep trench around the area. The trench light pruned the root system from reaching his property. I thoug

This looks like a lot of fun, but I wouldn't probably have any need for it. I currently find an AI prompt in the code editor, along with AI code completion, a fantastic way to rapidly code. Mixing Latte template files with a minimal fr

I'm guessing those things running 3.1 and 95 are air gapped then? Because wouldn't that make their systems quite vulnerable?

Wow, these stories were incredible sad to read. It seems a lot can be prevented by decent law enforcement and justice.

I think AI services will be generally free because there is too much juicy data that can be mined and a risk someone might just make it easy to make your own AI "server" so to speak.

Really interesting article. It feels a little like what I heard about VisualBasic and REBOL back in the day. AI definitely helps, but I'm still not convinced it will be able to create anything but really simple apps. Likely it will fac

This kind of reads like an ad, and is it just me or is a budget priced 2295 dollar bike not exactly someone on a budget can afford.

I'm wondering if this woman is still barred from stores that use Facewatch. It would be a terrible inconvenience to only be allowed in a select few shops. Where is the line defining certain private businesses as essential resources for

I got into bikes after moving to a cyclists' town. I know the pride of riding something you've fixed up like the author mentioned in the article. Bikes are truly a marvel. My town and bikes have provided me with a higher standard

It's great that this has happened. The biggest parenting mistake I made was to give my kids smartphones. The only advice I give to new parents is not to give your kids smartphones.
