I wonder why they even tried CPR or a defibrillator. They spent 42 minutes rescuing someone who was underwater, and then decided to try and revive him? Maybe there are details left out, like he was not fully submerged the entire time...

I've had Androids since way back, and while the UI has continuously gotten prettier, it has gotten harder and harder to use. I can 'feel' these new concepts as they roll them out, and then just get frustrated by them. It fee

They try and appear to be very open about the whole thing, but no mention as to why they need to be accredited in the first place? Can they just choose not to get the accreditation and still give out .com domains?

I'd also like to throw this out there -- I'd really like to see HN require "location" as part of official HN job postings. Very few post where they are located, and then I have to go to the company website, and sometimes

Tesla stock is crazy unstable in the first place. I've invested in it purely because I like Elon so much, and it has been humorous to watch it "progress". A report of a tesla battery catching fire, and the cause is still unk

This is old news already. And this is the second shoddy C|NET article on the front page today (the other one being the quantum mechanics article). Seems kind of fishy to me!

The key takeaway from that to me is to at least have an office. Keep it open most of the time for communication, close it when you need privacy. The whole "easier to collaborate with others" with an open floor plan is just excuse

I just got into climbing a month ago, I've been to the gym about 7 times now, and am absolutely in love with it. I think it's one of the perfect sports/activities for programmers, but like you said, nobody talks or knows much
