While it is nice to have options, I still think iTerm2 is one of the best terminal emulators for OS X out there. It has also most likely been audited more thoroughly than newer options out there. There was a security audit sponsored by Mozi

It does not seem as critical for public SSH servers but does seem pretty bad for ssh clients using ProxyCommand in their configurations. I had this in my config for proxying over tor and seems like it is vulnerable. ``` ProxyCommand connect
