As much as I like smaller and faster editors like VS-Code, in case of Java and C#, I wouldn't survive a day without IntelliJ/Rider. * Better refactoring * Better linting and code cleanup; Most of the time I learn new language feat

I recently (5 months ago) went this way targeting Windows and Linux and was very satisfied in the end. I might add: - Very small executable (I shipped around 10 MB executable) - No dependencies - Handling HiDPI screens (4k+) was OK - Very f

1. How about looking for a part-time job? It could be a single project. 2. Personal side projects could work too.

Another one to add: Besides waiting for animation, in Windows 10, if you type the password fast enough the first character gets selected and the second character you type will replace it. This happens frequently.

Maybe I want to have a C++ (native) port of my web library. I may want to start by transpiling my TS code (interfaces and classes) to C++. I also wonder why isn't there to C# yet?

Strange. I had mostly pleasant experience with WPF. In fact, back in the early days it was so exciting to work with.

Found svelte 3 after Rich's talk and managed to complete a production app using it. Found it not only a lot easier, but almost flawless.

The thing is JetBrain's IDEs use that diff tool where-ever a diff is needed, not just for git. For example, in a local history of a file (like undo history), history of a single line in code, etc.

Could something like Android webview work? The webview doesn't force each app to include a whole browser. So, maybe single instance of electron runtime with multiple thin apps with "electron-webviews".
