afaik, they try not to store popular items. otoh they do the opposite for the long tail titles. probably from ny times article, they also have changed their package format (both material and shape) 10 times or more.

Those numbers are probably from non-real world benchmark tests of sequential read/write. You probably never reach to those levels and when put TT to the equation # will decrease even more.

if you compare Redis to Tokyo Cabinet what are the advantages/disadvantages? One may be TC is stress tested by many. docs are a great start but i hope antirez will extend the horizontal scaling/consistent hashing topic a little bit more. on

I respect points he made but it was Media Metrix or something like that has reported that hours watched has reached a new all time high. Another contradictory point is there is IPTV. TV stations can deliver customized programmes with this.

Tokyo Tyrant has different kinds of databases LightCloud has support for all? I think so but just be sure. Do you have any plans for developing a PHP API for LightCloud? Thanks for your excellent work. I hope documentation will be improved.
