The great thing about spaghetti is you only have to be as smart as the person(s) who wrote it; there’s generally a self enforced bound on how obtuse it can be.

Nausea aside, what evidence does anyone have that “super intelligence” of the sort your argument alludes to is even possible? Because that’s what we’re really talking about; greater than human intelligence on this sort of academic task. For

The only stop gap we have is for the states to start investigating and prosecuting these cases. And they don’t, I can I only suppose there are issues of jurisdiction even if the opposing party controls the apparatus. Too bad the the Georgia

Most if not all high schools and colleges in the US required TI “graphing” calculators for algebra/trig on up. I don’t know if they still do. I never saw this HP28, sounds awesome!

In practice it just meant the “zero page” could be anywhere, not the 256 bytes starting at 0x00 (like the 6502 zero page). The opcodes that operate on zero page are shorter and thus faster.

It’s hard to imagine what two millions lines of Haskell could possibly be doing. I mean that’s a lot of code and I have the impression that Haskell is “tight” meaning a little code can do a lot. Maybe they have a lot of libraries to do thin

Google will definitely lose. Llms supplants search. But not the old document search which they stopped doing long ago. Add in the fact that open weight models are 6-12 months behind frontier models means AI companies aren’t building a moat,

Local models are 6-12 months behind the “frontier” models. This mean anthropic, openai, and google don’t have a moat, they’re on a treadmill running to stay ahead. Treadmills don’t justify their valuation.

It’s clear at this point local models are sufficient so what gives? These big providers don’t have a leg to stand on. Their only path to relevance is super ai that local models can’t run. So the “we have it but you can’t use it” is either t
