When has build time been an issue though? Running tests have taken the most time by far on every project I’ve ever worked on.

I think the parent is implying there are 1001 soc out there with some form of embedded gpu that probably have issues actually implementing webgpu. Like those in millions of Chinese tablets. Are they likely targets? Probably not now but in 5

WAL doesn’t cure concurrency issues for SQLite. WAL plus single writer, multiple reader threaded is required. It’s blazing fast though.

Some percentage of customers can’t leave if they want to. The ones who have laid off and cost cut to such a level they can no longer undertake projects to move to another virtualization environment. I’m at one such company. The staff we hav

This is a very nice write up of not only Ocaml but also gameboy emulator implementation. Great job and thank you to the author! As an aside I’ve always thought it would be awesome to create a single page app with an assembler editor and ass

A lady backed into my 99 civic in 2008, totaled it. The body work was more than the value of the car. I’d still be driving it if that hadn’t happened :sad-face.

Indeed it’s hard to retire from the US military as an officer because there’s a big filter at Major. You generally need to reach LTC to make 20 years. Enlisting for four (or more) then going officer makes it easy to get 20 years and retire.
