Also, why KDE still bother with the Qt company. Fork it, call Kt and be done with recurrent Qt Company controversies.

That is what I was referring to : the spirit is not there (hardly ever was fully there anyway to be honest, IMHO).

I don't know, hence my questions :-) Could a good mirroring system could do the trick ? Or like it is already done in a lot a closed system ? At which density does that start to be economically viable ? But my main question really is,

I'm really curious as to why we have not started to build stacked fields. How deep go root crops ? Could we do, say, 10 stories building and have one story every two filled with soil ? What would be the challenges ? It could be a way t

It has improved for me to the point I don't use !g anymore. Maybe subconciously I now do queries that fit DDG better. Anyway, I get the answer I want so can now live without Google.

Why WTF ? You are reading something I did not write. I am not obsessed with the nonblocking mantra. Blocking is not inherently bad. Multi-processus is also a perfectly valid concurrency model. Nor am I obsessing about being ultra performant

I also don't get the async hype. Maybe it is undesirable because that often times plain mono-thread synchronous is fast enough, easier to read, easier to debug and safe to handle to a junior ? Not everybody in a team has the same lev

According to Piketty, Nixon suppressing the inheritance tax lead to more money and power hoarding and generational partial reshuffling stopped. There is undoubtedly more to the end of this golden age but it's a credible factor.

Sweden did not need lockdown because, like Asia, people there were more disciplined. Numbers show road traffic dropped significantly during the first semester : people stayed home without being ordered to. Some culture will never do that by
