It was pretty amazing and we've probably bumped into each other in the queue for hotdogs. I also recall we blew out 2 fuse stations and laid the entire city dark for a few hours.

What does "90 demos exposed" mean. Will there be any way to run them? The demo-scene back in the day was magical. I remember presenting a demo in half ASM half Pascal at The Party in 96 I think it was. Crazy event, 3600 geeks in a

What an odd piece. Who would expect a non-web-dev to develop a webapp without using google? I do a lot of webdevelopment and have zero issues.

Having just killed SabreCMS (something in the same vein as Webflow) before reaching the break-through point you guys did I can fully understand how it must have felt when you broke the ice and saw your baby turn into a success story. Wishin

One of the most interesting projects I've seen on here in a while. Thinking of the massive efforts of thousands of developers who get Linux to where it is today, its a daunting undertaking, but definitely one that could be worthwhile,

I quit WhatsApp, Facebook et al and went with Signal. Initially it was hard converting people to a privacy oriented service, but today I have an endless list of open chats in Signal.

Interesting idea of pushing a free early access that will convert to ?$/mo soon. Im sure it'll be affordable but Im actually not comfortable onboarding in the dark. That said, looks like a very interesting project.

Well, thats true but its implied. The entire syntax for Clojure fits in a single line. Its easier to learn and being as expressive as it is, the core idioms are quickly picked up as well. So - You can get into it quickly, very quickly if yo

What a painful read. Im always surprised to find/meet these people who spend 20 hours per day, trying to make other people miserable. I guess I shouldn't be.

That doesn't make Clojure any less functional. No matter which language you use, eventually it'll compile to machinecode and thats imperative by nature. Your code however, can be whatever it wants to be. In certain scenarios, the

Its such a great idea, but the site seems somewhat broken. I have a constant "Connection lost" banner flashing at the top. But I will say that in terms of productivity, Clojurescript/Reagent has been a real red-pill experienc

"Many people try to compare Rust to Go, but this is flawed. Go is an ancient board game that emphasizes strategy." This cracked me up so hard I can no longer deny being a straight up nerd.

You're absolutely right, the inner sort example makes no sense. I hope I'll have to time to work on this again in the near future. I use CQL every day but there's still a lot I'd like to do with it.
