Isn't AWS moving from Xen to KVM (actually I see my instances run on KVM), how does it factor here (KVM not even mentioned)?

"scalable" (not sure about that name) questions or scenarios are the best to gauge competency. I do them although it's pretty hard to come up with good ones. A fallback for shorter question is to ask for a something with many

The biggest mindset change is to consider a debate a problem-solving exercise where both parties are in the same team, instead of a competition with the person you are arguing with. (Same goes for arguing with significant other and to some

Maybe adding false information? Harder in blog articles if you already have an identity and a real name, but if you are in twitter or reddit, you can post about fake locations, hobbies, family members etc. This way at least is harder to be

Thank you for your work. Can I suggest to add a ToC? (I know this is framed as a daily challenge but it will help to see contents at a glance, even naming the chapters).

This is great. Now, there's quite a bit new to learn here. I use Markdown notes files with quoted commands and outputs as first exploratory documentation and before it goes into Ansible/Dockerfile/Packer/Whatever. I can

You can start in Cadiz, Spain for a longer trip than from Lisbon. Actually I don't know the rules for this "longer route" since you could go zig-zagging.

Absolutely agree. There's a ton of literature on how to get started etc but not a lot on "day 2", the "now what" experience in production. (Friend working on it: https://day2kube.com/ )

Not responding to this, just using the example. It can be easily argued that adding AV software to (some) servers increase their surface attack and reduce their security (leaving alone performance and other AV issues).

I have some experience with this. Way I see it, if you have your software on somebody else's on-prem and move to k8s, more importantly than replacing the stack between Linux and your app is a change in mentality and demarcation of resp
