Hah, we had a common dev chat where we discussed problems and solutions. It worked great. Then one guy started unabashedly pasting ChatGPT responses to our question... It got silent real fast.

Ah, my bad. I guess the best way would be to design your own keyboard and add extra spacing. It may sound daunting but it's not too difficult honestly.

No I don't think mechanical keyboards in general are better. I think heavy switches (which is very common) are worse than regular keyboards. Light switches (Choc has some nice very light switches) is probably better, and of course you&

Why not create a "navigation layer" where you can have your home/end/pup/pgdown and arrow keys, right below your fingers? That's the usual way people use these smaller keyboards, and it's way superior in m

You might have success with choc switches as they can be placed closer together than MX style switches.

> The idea that OpenAI had him killed is beyond ludicrous Regular people have hired contract killers to kill their partner, for completely pointless and stupid reasons. What's ludicrous is your outright dismissal.

So, because Russia has nukes we should let them do whatever they want? With that logic we should let them takeover the entire Europe, continuing their genocide until the Holocaust seemed like a small-scale event. Then you can give yourself

Russia has been very clear about their goals. They want to reestablish the Soviet borders (and later to expand them). The only question is who will they invade first, and will they have capacity to do so?

I feel the same way about SPA. At work the decision was made to rewrite it all in React because it was supposedly easier to find people who knew React, instead of any good product fit.

Musk supports absolute free speech eh? But the apologists will still defend Musk and claim he's all about free speech...

I've been itching to use jj for real but the lack of a dedicated Neovim plugin killed my enthusiasm a bit. Yes, regular git plugins sort-of mostly works, but it's different enough to introduce a lot of painful edges when you do.

I've made my own layouts[0][1] and I'd say the many variants of Hands Down are probably the best example of a layout that's been developed in a thoughtful manner. [0]: https://www.jonashietala.se/series/t

For me two things jump out: Giant paragraphs (hard for the eyes to keep focus). Sparse amount of headers (contributes to the flow and easier to scan, to see if it's something I'm interested in).

As others have commented on, it's not enough to just lay new cables and the lack of nuclear energy (or hydro or coal...) in the south is why the energy from the north can't reach the south.

This is the answer. It's not as simple as just laying down more cable, and it was a really hard self-own to shut down the nuclear plants in the south without anything to cover for them.

Enough time? A nuclear reactor takes much longer than she's been at the office to build, and the Germans would still siphon off most of that electricity driving the price high nevertheless. Wind obviously wouldn't solve it (since,

I even think the Corne have too many keys and for me it's enough with a 3x5 grid plus one or two thumb keys. The big trade-off is layout complexity. My layout[0] is extremely complicated... [0]: https://www.jonashietala.se&#
