With the, uh, stability of the president it's pretty much a certainty that this will change many times more before you'll get the laptop. How the hell should a company operate in this kind of climate?

How many US businesses is this tariff level going to bankrupt? As an example, this level will completely ruin so many boardgame businesses I don't want to think of it. The future looks pitch black for my beloved boardgaming hobby.

The issue is when you do Month/Day/Year, then you lose consistency. Both Year/Month/Day or Day/Month/Year are more logical.

You assume that being detained is the only thing you're thinking about. Not wanting to support the US for plunging the whole world into economic turmoil or not wanting to support a country speed running into fascism are other reasons.

"The Jews are responsible for everything bad in the world". I don't know much, but this is the messaging (that I'm going to repeat ad nauseam so that more people will believe it). Don't be a part of the problem.

The rest of the world will keep buying cheap stuff from China in increasing quantities. Meanwhile things just got really expensive for people (and businesses) in the US as so much stuff is made in China. Yes, it will hurt China. But it wi

You can virtiualize Windows on Linux too while you can't play Steam Deck games on Switch, so they're not comparable.

It does mean that you can install games any way you want, and even do things like emulate Switch games.

You can install Windows on the Steam Deck if you want. But calling Windows more free than Linux because you can virtualize Linux is a noteworthy statement alright.

> My impression is that the general quality of games on steam is sub par the quality of, eg., Zelda. An impossibly high bar given that the Zelda games are some of the most critically acclaimed games of all time.

Meanwhile Trump's golfing so far this term has cost the country more than $26 million dollars (on his own golf courses). If DOGE was serious about saving money there's some excess spending they could get rid of.
