As someone active in the community I wouldn't say there has been any particularly massive ramp up recently. Someone refernced ElixirConf US and some of the news-flow is certainly from that. Elixir has been building a steady steam press

I have more interest in this: https://electric-sql.com/ They are adding a sync-mechanism for Sqlite so local writes can be synced to a remote location and on into Postgres and so on. CRDT-based eventual consistency. So loca

Yeah, I think I adressed this in the article and I hope it came across. If latency is the one singular goal the design should be quite different.

Glad you are enjoying it. I have a pretty solid list of topics to hit still. Hope I maintain the momentum. Thankfully writing them is kind of straightforward. Topics I've been interested in before and already know enough to write a bit

Yeah, the API is very similar. I don't know the .Net runtime well enough to say anything about how it actually executes though.

There have been a few just recently. Bit of an ML boom in Elixir and ML is popular right now. As an Elixir-centric blogger I can tell you that Elixir generally seems to do well on Hacker News. I think it has a lot of overlap with interests
