Interesting project! When I looked into CYOA, I opted for Ink. It's using a nice text-based language, a bit like markdown. It worked well for me, and I think it's a good option if you want to use a text editor. I wrote about my ex

Nice project! As it was not clear from the description, there's a one-time payment (4.29€) to get more than 7 puzzles in a day. Lichess also offers a good alternative to this, although their offline support is limited.

Thanks! To be fair, there have been a few years without a single commit: https://github.com/laurentlb/shader-minifier/graphs/contribu... (before 2013, the code was in a private svn repo). I also enjoy alterna

Most transformations don't change the code that's executed. const float x = sin(2); const float y = 2; If you define these two consts, we can inline y everywhere it's used. But by default, we don't inline x as i

There are many ways to use LLMs. The issue, IMO, is that some people throw in a one-shot, short prompt, and get a generic, boring output. "Garbage in, generic out." Here's how I actually use LLMs: - To dump my thoughts and ge

I’ve been thinking about this a lot and I agree: focusing on input, especially through comprehensible reading, seems like a solid approach. One resource I like for finding comprehensible input is: https://comprehensibleinputwiki.

It would be fun to have a tool try guess your native language, based on your English writing.

In ChatGPT settings, you can set your preferences, e.g. choose between tu/vous, and ask it to be more formal. This should fix your issue, right?

If it's about readability, you could have a rule "either comma or line break".

I agree it's confusing at the beginning, but I think it's much better to figure out the rules on your own. It requires a bit of testing, but it's completely doable. I'd add a line below the game, e.g. "Your first go

Once you've drawn the circles, I think you just need to specify which regions are filled. Arcs are just intersection of circles, so they are implicit, as far as I can tell.

Regarding semantic versioning: what would constitute a breaking change? I think it makes sense to increase the major / minor numbers based on the importance of the release, but this is not semver.

Putty and Winamp are two softwares that I've used for 20+ years on Windows and that still feel the same. They don't get old or outdated.

The website doesn't mention any other country. It doesn't say if it was tested in other countries; it doesn't say if it's even legal in other countries. Does the pilot know the signs and driving laws outside the US? If t
