Good game though there seems to be a bug where if you tap twice quickly, not even a doubt tap but just relatively quickly, it doesn’t register the second tap. Safari, iOS (whatever the latest update is)

Every time I rewatch that episode it reminds me about when smart phones and social media first swept through, turning people into zombies staring at their phone screens and barely interacting with people physically around them.

It’s a firewall thing not a batting thing. You need a stateful firewall to do that kind of smart port forwarding. Which, to be fair, all consumer routers should have. Stateless firewalls, however, need to have explicit rules for UDP traffic

You can also use a USB Ethernet dongle with the Wii (that’s exactly my set up in fact). This obviously doesn’t help DS users though.

Sorry, I don’t understand your question. But just in case this answers it: S3 is cloud storage on AWS. Athena can work directly off the CSVs stored on S3. Where I said “dump” it was just a colourful way of saying “transfer your files to…”.

AWS Athena can do this. Dump your CSVs in S3 and query them in Athena. Personally I use sqlite for smaller datasets and wrap that around a CSV importer.

I’m not a Haskell developer and Arch is my goto Linux precisely because it’s on the of easiest distros to fix when things go wrong. YMMV but the snide remark is definitely unjustified.

“Usable” isn’t acceptable when every other solution is intuitive. I don’t just want something “usable”, after 30 years of research in GUI design I expect something better than just usable from one of the largest software developers in the w

Which is fine if your chat UI doesn’t totally suck for 99.9% of the other use cases. I’d readily take the additional pain of switching applications if it means I don’t have to deal with Teams for chat. Also all video conferencing and chat a

Teams is by far and away the worst UI of any chat system I’ve used. I get why it’s designed the way it is, it’s trying to be Sharepoint, Slack, Zoom and Outlook. And as a result it does every single one of them worse. Sometimes integration

I figured that would get downvoted by one of the liberals on here. Unfortunately civilised society doesn’t work to ideals and thus sometimes you need to impose boundaries rather than work entirely on faith (hence why we have laws). It’s one

My point wasn’t that 3D is hard. It was that doing 3D on the Saturn was uniquely much harder because the hardware was designed for 2D sprite manipulation rather than polygons. Thus to create polygons on the Saturn you had to transform 2D sq

Yeah C was definitely available for the 16 bit but and think I recall C++ being available for the N64 but that was a later generation (and thus released several years later) than the Mega Drive and SNES era. By the time the N64 / PlayS

There were a few game engine that adopted this approach (though I can mentally visualise the games, my mind has gone totally blank trying to name said engines). I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was common practice but it certainly was a te

As I said, C code did exist but it was slower so it wasn’t the norm. I don’t know of any other languages being used on those systems (I think C++ was supported on the following generation of consoles, albeit SDKs took longer to be released

Everyone does because most games back then were written in assembly so the raw code is there on the ROM. Games written in C slow in comparison, as seen with Sonic Spinball, so I’d wager Sonic 3D would have had to be assembly too given the t

Except there is already precedence regarding their App Store. So if Apple defaulted to their own search engine and didn’t allow a way of changing that default then the courts might well find that anti-competitive too.
