Man if my workplace gave me a machine with Kubuntu on it I’d be so happy even though I share the same sentiment about Ubuntu. Heck I’m a Linux admin now and my workplace gave me a laptop with Windows 11.

I am a current Roon user and have been for a few years. I will try this out and compare. Nice work! Always happy to see more competition in this space.

Man the hit pieces keep coming. Trying to convince everyday Americans to distrust a different country and unequivocally trust their own. This kind of propaganda won’t last forever.

Backyard chicken eggs for me are much richer and fuller flavor. I also keep Black Copper Marans and those eggs are delicious.

I highly highly recommend keeping chickens for those with the ability, space, and time to care for them. You don’t need acres. I was able to do it on a 1/4 acre in my city and as long as you follow the local ordinance you’ll be fine. G

Debian has been amazing for my fleet of geriatric ThinkPads… my T60 and X200 are my favorites to use.

I agree with this, I don’t think it was the only reason but it’s a big one. When people point out what Trump said or plans to do I want to remind people it’s not like we had a real choice this election. It’s right wing or far right wing. Bo

Continuation of neoliberal policies. The Biden administration having no spine (or desire) to stop Israel from blowing up children 24/7 has led to the logical conclusion of finishing the genocide with a dash of nihilistic capitalism all

To be clear I don’t want to “blame” ranchers for their situation. Many ranchers took over family farms etc. I didn’t mean to make it sound like that.

I am moving from the Midwest to a city less than 2 hours from the Canadian border. That’s plan B, but New Zealand is in dire need of IT workers and if you have a certain job title you can get fast tracked there. So I am using Seek to apply

I am actively balking at this. The Democrats did this to the country by having zero likable or relatable candidates and alienating the actual left of this country. Tim Walz was likable and relatable to middle America but he wasn’t running f

I understand what you’re saying but as another commenter pointed out, many ranchers are in incredible debt. The same is for farmers. You get trapped in a cycle you can’t break from without a miracle.

I lived in Colorado for 10 years until very recently and this was a very emotional debate. The ranchers submitted claims that exceeded the reimbursement fund but if I remember correctly some of the claims were questionable and reaching. My

I will say, the CEO of the USA Elon and his friend Trump did announce they were going to do this some time ago. So I’m a bit dismayed at folks acting surprised. To me it seems clear they want to clear the government out of people who disagr

My employer blocks all AI tools via firewall at the office. I get around this by just using my phone on data or the guest WiFi. I don’t use it often for my work (AIX/Linux admin) but it has been helpful for certain situations.

Crazy how even the “smarties” on here just repeat US State Dept talking points like a puppet. China might be hostile to the federal government but I have no beef with them, and I bet most of the populace doesn’t either.
