You are in fact correct. Typing a name and then clicking on the Search button will take you to GoDaddy. But you do NOT need to click on the Search button at all to use the site. I used in the past and I did not even notice there was Search

I do not know your code, but you might be able to guess this from what the user types and skip the configuration option. If someone consistently enters two spaces you can then assume that when there is only one space it is a mistake.
