Not sure if we ever had a subscription but I read them a lot as a kid. Along with popular mechanics. In a waiting room nothing even comes fucking close. Or came close. RIP.

Do they not go out of their way to make it difficult? I had to scrounge google which led me to a forum thread for Triumph bike manuals. Only managed to get a link to a website associated with Triumph where they let you pay on a per day basi

I seriously doubt IMs and email are being censored. You sound like someone who gets their information from grifters that complain about censorship despite having huge audiences captured by masses of lazy thinkers.

That should probably be the default unless there's a compelling reason not to since they have the best claim to historical and cultural importance.

They are just regions of spacetime with a lot of mass and very strong gravity. 1) They aren't power sources, but if they are spinning that rotational energy could theoretically be harnessed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wik

I feel like you need to see _this_ spacetime video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d0EGIt1SPc If you think LISA is mad this will blow your mind.

You could search using the IMDB ID/url suffix, which almost always gave you exactly what you wanted. RIP.

Do you think insecticides are altering where the bees die? Otherwise it sounds like you're describing a large population of former bees.

I saw one maybe 10 years ago, I was outside at night and noticed it get bright. Looked up and there it was, or the last bit of its streak was. They aren't that rare apparently, but the big ones like in this video are rare: https:&#x2F

That's one way of looking at it, too much like explaining the wonder of efficiency that is the gasoline supply chain without mentioning CO2 though. Kinda changes the 'incredible amount of value offered' for me.

It uses the sun's gravity as a gravitational lens. You fly a normal sized telescope to the focal point. The theoretical resolution is pretty mindblowing, we'd be able to make out oceans and continents on exoplanets.

I guess that helps explain how the ferry was only using 100 liters of fuel per day. Pretty high hanging fruit for electrification in that respect.

I'm a fan of the ezra klein show, but this is probably the worst episode. I vaguely remember a torrent of nonsense from someone whose job it is to make cryptocurrency sound good with basically no pushback.

It would take tens of thousands of votes in a handful of specific states, but yeah, it would requires a vast conspiracy. Trump Republicans are trying to just that under the assumption that the 2020 election was stolen anyway. Which is, uh,

The post you're replying to mentions huge youth unemployment in China, doesn't Zeihan think China will collapse because there won't be enough workers? I was considering reading Zeihan's recent book but he comes off as ki
