Not really. What you are describing is commonly referred to as 'liquid'. See here for the difference between the terms responsive/liquid/adaptive ( http://liquidapsive.com/ ). There is a lot of misinformation/misunderstanding surrounding re

Whenever there is a topic concerning Bill Gates, there always seems to be someone in the discussion section that will find a way to shoehorn Steve Jobs into a comment, however irrelevant. An interesting phenomenon.

Medium, 37 Signals and ALA look nothing like Bootstrap at all, so I'm not sure why you made that comparison. I am not a fan of this new redesign at all and feel like Medium and 37 signals do the simple/clean layout approach much better than

It might be worth noting that there are many revisions of The Elements of Typography Style, the latest released only this month (version 4.0).

Apparently you can do this with Home Sharing ( http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3819 ). Initially you will need to use the same Apple ID across all devices to download the apps you want to share. Once they have been downloaded and authorized,

The extending the brand comment is exactly right. And it goes back way before iPhones too, Nokia is probably the best example. While people may not be able to hum the melody of the original Nokia ringtone when asked spontaneously, I bet tha

Nice work. I see IMDB still don't have an API. I wrote a little movie comparison web app in the past and had to resort to screen scraping IMDB too. Rotten Tomatoes on the other hand seems to embrace developers a lot more and has an excellen

There isn't really a magic number when it comes to the typography of a webpage. I'd be wary of using more than 3 unless you really know what you are doing. Two fonts, one for headings and one for body text, is probably most common. Even a s

Articles that cherry pick comments from Twitter and then announce it as some sweeping generalization need to stop. The evidence for the headline is based on 4 screenshots of some random tweets. It happened recently with the MS vs Android ma

I'm fairly sure IETester is not a 100% accurate representation. Although saying that, I have used it before and it certainly is more convenient. I suppose it depends on how important the compatibility of your site is on the older IE version

The black UI looks totally out of place on OS X. I hope you can change it to graphite (you couldn't on the alpha client).

The were so ashamed that they decided to announce it among other new features in iOS 6 at WWDC this year. No-one pays attention to those silly conferences, especially Apple's.

That site is such a massive eyesore, to the point where I struggle to have any motivation to read past the first paragraph. Colors, typography, the massive line-lengths. It's a wall of text. Just an all-round horrible design.

Not true, only the Retina Macbook Pro and Airs have soldered-in batteries/RAM, just like ultrabooks made by other manufacturers (ASUS, Dell, Acer). It's a design decision. If you want an ultra thin/light machine then you have to compromise.

Hold shift then click the green button. And I'd say Expose/Spaces coupled with the built-in hot-corners feature is great on OS X and window management is far from a 'complete joke'. In fact it's one of the big benefits for me over Windows.
