This is off-topic but at first I thought I was on a Spotify blog page. Lookout has very similar branding.

I used to use Opera but a lot of sites don't think that Opera is a real browser and show incompatibility messages. I used to use Firefox but it felt a little clunkier than Safari and Chrome and was not as performant. It's been a w

I really like Firefox's current tab groups and wish that Chrome provided similar functionality. For me a better method would be to have the tab itself be the group "parent" and expand when clicked. For example: I'm on re

I guess it's because the templates don't have to ever be parsed since they're transpiled to Go code at compile-time. It's been a while since I've used Go's template packages but I thought that they're only

I've never used it and don't really know much about it but from a quick reading it seems that React is about building reusable components in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. React Native provides bindings to native components that you&#

That's now how sandboxing works. You'd need an additional bug to escape the sandbox.

The bug is in the ImageIO library which would affect SpringBoard, Messages, Safari, and most other applications which process images. I don't understand how having code execution in either of these processes would give up that informat

You can use dtruss, you just can't use it on certain binaries. A friend said that you can disable certain parts of SIP to enable functionality like this but I haven't tried myself. Looks like this is the command: csrutil ena

I saw recently that Safari's reader view actually pieces together paginated articles into one long view. I haven't had a chance to try it myself though.

As much as I hate the idea of basically bundling Chrome with the application to get it to run, since this is essentially Chrome then wouldn't it be able to utilize WebAssembly in the future instead of the JavaScript engine?

I use it in vim and I have to say it's not really too difficult if you're used to Markdown. I was actually using it today for the first time to take notes in class and I was amazed by the beautiful documents it produces.

I can't comment on performance but it definitely allows for easier plugin development. Another thing I think this affects is some things like font rendering (e.g. you can now use ligatures if your font supports them) since they use the
