It doesn't look like it can do structures, either.

Are you familiar with the author or does the Tweet mention him? He would famously go on to spend a large part of his career attempting to implement something roughly like this paper describes, and inspired by the Memex. https://e

You'll have to go a little further back. After I switched to round lenses, I couldn't see the frame as well in my peripheral vision, which led to me looking for my glasses as they were on my face.

Well, yes, I would suppose it's n^2, but with a very small constant as most e-mail clients run on computers.

We had a Grafana dashboard where one of the columns was a short Git hash. One day, a commit got the hash `89e2520`, which Grafana's frontend helpfully decided to display as "+infinity". Presumably it was parsing 89E+2520.

I'm going to sound tinfoil-y, but coal doesn't have dual strategic purposes which made it in the Soviet Union's best interests to focus opposition on it. Look into what happened to funding for the CND in Britain after 1991.

What leads you to the estimate of a dozen? Very few modern warheads have multiple-megaton yields, it's less efficient than many small-yield warheads.

Is Liu misunderstanding the Western plans or am I? I was under the impression that the US and Europe intended to get some onshore fab capacity as a second-source and backup in case Taiwan is blockaded or worse. If the plan was to replace

If the calendar has "13 months, 12 months each with 13 days and 1 more month with 5 or 6 days", is the year only 161 or 162 days long? Or are the days counted longer than 24 hours?

Looks like some people didn't like you putting the concept in more accessible terms. "Three sigma" has a real interpretation, it's not just a little score where you pull out LaTeX when it reaches 6.

Well, for one, I think a lot of existing systems have the assumption that "this place is UTC-8 except for in this special case" and not the other way around. Also, the UTC-5 zone in North America (for instance) aligns geographical

OK, from a pure hedonistic view - let's say at some time in the future, there are no more humans left. Why would it make sense to invest anything into economic gain in the time before that happens? You'd rather run the economy int

Put another way: let's say everyone who is capable of children follows your advice. To whom are these economic gains meaningful in 100 years? Who would their parents be?
