Around 80% have received one dose at least, that leaves 20% who at this point seem to be making an ideological stand. 20% of the any population can have absolutely fringe views that shouldn't be given ideological affirmative action for

Well, they got it, so whatever their reasoning for it is pretty irrelevant at this point.

Given that a supermajority was vaccinated this time last year, I think one bubble is much smaller.

Doesn’t help when people like me are just terrible at everything, have accomplished nothing and considered subhuman by the rest of society! This is a “thanks I’m cured” statement, no different from saying depressed people should smile more.

The fact that my hard work has never yielded anything of value except disdain from elites that consider me an “NPC” is why I wish Harrison Bergeron was real. For the record, most people of high ability aren’t on 24/7 like that.

Most people think Assange was turned by Russian state intelligence after 2013/2014. The "reporting" on Russia vanished after.

This entire premise is false, the hacked emails didn't come from her personal server at all. As of November 23, 2022 there's no evidence that her personal email machine was ever compromised.

It's possible to do that with a morning routine in Alexa. I know this because it tells me the weather (and other things) after I kill my alarm in the morning.

I was personally never concerned that Trump would start WW3, more that he’d help the wrong side in it (he tried already and was impeached for it). The laptop is a shibboleth, voters don’t actually care because the right already poisoned the

I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. The early Fire Phone team was also the early Echo team and the Echo is several orders of magnitude more successful. Lots of services built for Alexa have been spun out into AWS as well

The Echo devices were sold for around BOM, but IIRC they were able to get some significant price reductions on that on a few popular devices, though I'm not sure if that ever got released. I think some of the newer devices might have t

I hope you've played the original too! It is worse in some aspects of gameplay, but it's significantly more immersive and the plot is fantastic (and aged a little too well).

I agree. I'm a fan of the gameplay and honestly quite bizarre design, it's distinctive in a way a lot of games aren't. But the plot...oh man, I wish they had spent some time on the plot.

LLM chaining seems like it works pretty incredibly - between the newly released Whisper Model and chaining building up a more sophisticated assistant than the current open source ones seems extremely plausible even for smaller teams. [0] h

I worked at Alexa. I'm not surprised by the massive loss - R&D was substantial, and nobody will ever be comfortable buying via voice (I own multiple Echo devices, use them extremely frequently, but disabled voice purchasing the fir

I live next to Broad's offices and see people leaving/entering the office at odd hours on Saturday and Sunday. That (and the fact that they pay about 75% what I made as a new grad) prevented me from ever applying there.
