The plan is to see how viable Servo is as an alternative to WebView. If it works well I expect Tauri to provide an option to use Servo when building the app.

Well, you can always type "select from some_table" and then move the cursor back after select and have auto completion. For example Jetbrains DataGrip supports this.

You are confusing "simple" with "easy". When you are trying to solve hard problems the "easy" way you are going to have bigger problems later than just awkwardness.

The next best thing we should try to move to, if we accept that by having more experience and knowledge makes existing tech seem "bad" in retrospective.

The guy that tried to trademark the Webassembly name btw and it's constantly trying to hijack the community with halfbaked solutions instead of pushing forward the standard, cause Wasmer had beef in the past with bytecode alliance peep

what's coming next is replacing wasmer with wasmtime [1], the runtime closely following wasm and implemented by the same people designing the standard itself. [1] https://wasmtime.dev/

The alternative is to just copy paste the table definition or do composition with foreign keys. Seems like field inheritance was invented only because we are too lazy, I have not seen yet valid cases for inheritance in Postgres or any OOP l

It's not like you can just "merge" pypy into python, they are totally different implementations. CPython is written in C and PyPy is written in RPython which is a subset of the python language that gets compiled, into into an
