zerotier rules engine can do node x can connect to node y, or nodes in group x can all talk to node y, but not each other, etc...

A long time ago, I set up some zfs-in-a-box-OS thing (some solaris fork), and hooked to active directory (i think?) and samba, and windows explorer had a built in context menu to restore files to older versions.

xcode is so busted and so are all their apis and documentation. I don't know how people are arguing with you. I'd prefer electron even it wasn't cross platform. I could write the app 4 times in electron faster than installing

There's also different releases of the same album... 2020 remaster, vinyl rip, web flac, japan edition... Sometimes the music app just smooshes all together so the "album" looks like it has 4 of each track

Combine this with memorizing a small amount of facts about the world, like "the population of the united states". If you know the population of new york, you're one step closer to the answer to that piano tuner example quest

You can turn on mdns with systemd network files too. Which works over zerotier because it's L2.

you _could_ use your other device (the one you're connecting from) as the controller. whomst amongst us doesn't have a 3rd machine or VPS?

zerotier adhoc networks are controllerless, though ipv6 only. The client can be set to not allow routes/addresses from a controller. The client and controller are licensed BSL.
